SouthPoint Risk, a Member of Correll Insurance Group is looking for an Agency Manager/Insurance Producer at our Clarksville location. The ideal candidate will have strong insurance knowledge and drive our sales goals by prospecting and generating new business through leads and referral sources, most heavily in the first year. After a successful first year of meeting sales goals, the ideal candidate will have developed and mastered the skills needed to ensure business growth through outstanding customer experience and insurance sales-driven conversation. The Agency Manager/Insurance Producer is motivated and customer-focused with a passion for helping clients protect their assets and achieve peace of mind through comprehensive insurance solutions. As an Agency Manager/Insurance Producer, you will be responsible overseeing the operations of the agency and maintaining strong client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Snapshot:
Prepare and Present Insurance Quotes
- Process new insurance applications, policy changes, and renewals in a timely manner.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
- Prospect and generate new business through leads & referral sources.
Develop and Implement Business Strategies
- Create plans to achieve sales and growth targets for the agency
Staff Management
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of agency staff to ensure a competent and motivated team
Performance Monitoring
- Track agency performance and develop improvement plans as needed
Compliance
- Ensure the agency complies with state and federal insurance laws and regulations
Client Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospective clients
Customer Service
- Handle high-level customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Financial Management
- Manage the agency's budget, including forecasting and financial reporting
Marketing and Networking
- Promote the agency's services through various marketing and networking activities
Collaboration with Carriers
- Work closely with insurance carriers to stay updated on changes in products and policies
Requirements:
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven experience as an Insurance Agent or in a similar sales role
• In-Depth knowledge of the insurance industry
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Proficiency in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
